Blog of the Master of the Worshipful Company of Marketors, a City of London Livery Company.
This blog records the participation of the Master in numerous activities across the City and elsewhere complementing the many events held within our own Company.
Whilst it is mainly written to inform members of the Worshipful Company of Marketors it will also be found of interest to anyone wishing to know more about the typical week to week engagements of a Master of a City of London livery company during a very full and memorable year of office.
The Livery operates as a traditional part of the City of London "tapestry" supporting the Mayoralty and many charitable causes. As well as receiving many invitations the Master also has to manage the Company and its programme on a day to day basis in close liaison with the Clerk and other members of the Company.
